The Backyard, San Diego Natural History Museum, San Diego, CA

The Backyard is a 2,000 square foot learning space for the Museum's youngest visitors age 0-5. The exhibition is themed around a backyard, the first place many children experience nature. The learning space allows parents to sit back and relax in the porch sitting area, or actively engage with their child. This permanent exhibition opened in July 2018.

As Vice President of Engagement and Education at the San Diego Natural History Museum, I oversaw the development, design, fabrication, and installation of the exhibition.
